Technical specs
Pulled from the verification packet included with each shipment. Cross-check the batch ID on your vial against the COA.
This vial supplies BPC-157 and TB-500 together, 5mg of each, as a single lyophilized preparation. The two are among the most frequently paired sequences in repair-model research, which is why they are commonly supplied pre-blended rather than reconstituted separately. This combination also circulates informally under the nickname “Wolverine Blend” — the same 1:1 BPC-157/TB-500 pairing sold under a popular-culture name rather than a technical one.
The pairing is not arbitrary. The two compounds are investigated for effects that appear at different points in tissue-repair models, and the research rationale for combining them rests on that separation of mechanism.
BPC-157 is a fifteen-amino-acid sequence derived from body protection compound, examined largely in angiogenic signalling, fibroblast behaviour and epithelial barrier models. TB-500 is a synthetic 43-amino-acid thymosin beta-4 analogue whose characterised mechanism is actin sequestration — binding monomeric G-actin and regulating the pool available for filament formation, which bears on cell motility and cytoskeletal reorganisation.
One is studied predominantly through vascular and signalling endpoints, the other through cytoskeletal ones. Whether combining them produces effects beyond the sum of the two individually is an open question rather than a settled finding, and researchers designing comparative work should treat it as such.
Full technical detail on each component is in the BPC-157 research guide and the TB-500 research guide. The BPC-157 vs TB-500 comparison sets the two side by side.
CAS numbers 137525-51-0 (BPC-157) and 77591-33-4 (TB-500). Supplied as a white lyophilized powder, soluble in water. This batch assayed at 99.82% purity, verified by HPLC and LC-MS at ILS Lab. As a blended preparation there is no single molecular weight — see each component for individual figures.
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic or sterile water, introducing the diluent against the vial wall and swirling gently rather than shaking. Store lyophilized at −20°C protected from light; refrigerate at 2–8°C once reconstituted.
Ships with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis. Cross-check the batch ID printed on your vial against the CoA before use — see the guide to reading a CoA if you are unfamiliar with the format.
Yes. “Wolverine Blend” is an informal name used across the research-peptide market for a 1:1 BPC-157/TB-500 preparation — this vial, at 5mg of each. It is not a distinct formulation; it is the same combination under a different, more colloquial name.
It depends entirely on the study design, and the honest answer is that the blend is not always the right choice. If you are characterising a mechanism — measuring what BPC-157 does, or what TB-500 does — buy them separately. A blend makes attribution impossible: any observation could come from either component or their interaction, and you cannot untangle them afterwards. The blend suits work where a combined effect is the endpoint. Both are available individually: BPC-157 and TB-500.
It is an open question, not an established finding. The rationale is mechanistic rather than empirical — the two act through different pathways, so combining them is hypothesised to address separate arms of tissue response. That is a reasonable hypothesis, but it is not the same as demonstrated synergy, and researchers should treat it as something to test rather than assume.
Not from this vial. It supplies a fixed 5mg of each. Reconstituting the two separately lets you vary the ratio, which matters if the relative proportion is itself a research variable. Where a fixed 1:1 preparation suits the design, the blend removes a preparation step and one opportunity for error.
Bacteriostatic or sterile water, exactly as for either component individually — both are water-soluble and neither requires an acidic diluent. Introduce the diluent against the vial wall and swirl gently rather than shaking. Store lyophilized at −20°C protected from light; refrigerate at 2–8°C once reconstituted.
